Here you will find links to sources that we at Shakti Wicca believe to be of great value to those
seeking to further their education in IndoPaganism. We will be continually updating this page as new resources are made
known to us.
Some of these links will take you to traditional Hindu resources written specifically for a Western-audience,
so that the material becomes much more accessible and can then be incorporated to a greater or lesser degree in one's personal
practice. Others will take you to non-traditional sources that are based in Hinduism, but take a more Western Esoteric, or
specifically IndoPagan bent.
We hope that these will help further your journey on the IndoPagan path.

Traditional Hinduism Resources
The Devi Mandir
Home of Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Shree Maa's Shakta Temple and Ministry. The Devi Mandir site hosts a wide variety
of online classes in RealAudio, as well as several sermons in streaming video. The bookstore sells many puja outlines and
other traditional Hindu resources geared towards a Western audience - including a several instructional videos on how to perform
puja, and how to draw a yantra. The FAQ is really wonderful and addresses many topics relevant to IndoPagans, such as how
to set up an altar, and how to invoke Divinity into a murti.
Shree Maa has been featured in several books about living women saints, and has a wide-following. She has recorded inspirational
and instructional CD's of bhajans, as well as mantras and pujas, that can be purchased through this site.
Swami Satyananda Saraswati is a Western-convert who has been recognized as a traditional Hindu sadhu, and who is constantly
writing resources for Westerners on Hindu practices. He makes himself regularly available to those who write to him via email
with spiritual questions. He has a delightful manner and style to his teachings that are a joy to watch or listen to.
The Himalayan Academy
This is the home of Hinduism Today, and of the teachings of Satguru Sivananda Subramuniyaswami, who is also a Western-convert.
The Himalayan Academy produces a wonderful amount of information written for Westerners about the Hindu sect of Shaivism (although
his particular lineage does promote a subservient social role for women, and ascetic moral standards).
The site hosts many wonderful texts online, including How to Become a Hindu, Loving Ganesa, Merging
with Siva, and Living with Siva. There are also many downloadable courses on Hindu culture and religion. These
are excellent resources that accurately reflect the viewpoint of many Hindu lineages, and can provide an great foundation
in the Shaiva sect of Sanatana Dharma.

Other IndoPagan Websites
The IndoPagan Project

The IndoPagan Project is a sister-site to Shakti Wicca. This site is geared towards providing an informational and ritual
resource database for for the IndoPagan community as a whole. This site also hosts news and announcements relevant to the
IndoPagan community, such as Rites of Passage, IndoPaganism in the press, or festival workshops being conducted on IndoPagan
topics. Educational essays regarding what IndoPaganism is and what practices we follow as a community will also be posted
to help foster understanding between the IndoPagan and NeoPagan community at large.
Samkhya Wicca
This website is hosted by a Shakti Wicca and IndoPagan Discussion group member, Rudra. She has done a very nice job of
explaning her path, which blends Wicca with the Sankhya philosophical school of Hinduism.
This site hosts many rituals in the Samkhya Wicca tradition, as well as tons of information on the tradition.
Phile Hine's Tantra Articles
A great storehouse of ritual, meditative and informative information can be found here, although it may not be to everyone's
tastes.
Phile Hine often works within the Left-Hand Path of a Ceremonial Magick persuasion, and hosts many articles and rituals
that are based in that system. However, there is also a great deal of wonderful information and resource material that can
be found on this site. Those of a Gay/Bi/Les/Trans/Inter nature will find many resources geared specifically to you in the
"New Flesh" section, which can be quite helpful.
Scan through the material and see what appeals to you and read it with an open mind. Many resources can be adapted to
suit needs other than those presented here.
