Participating in the Shakti Wicca mentorship will provide you with a solid experiential education in adopting
an eclectic IndoWiccan spiritual path.
When working with a mentor, you will be provided with specific book titles, meditations, and ritual assignments
which will help you progress at your own pace along a path that is oriented towards a very heavily Hindu-inspired Wiccan spirituality.
It can be very confusing trying to find comprehensible and reliable texts on the Eastern traditions, and the Shakti Wicca mentors
can aid you in your search.
We require that all applicants for the mentorship program have at least
5 years experience with eclectic Wiccan practice, to make the adjustment into an IndoWiccan system more efficient and
effective. We are happy to provide references to resources for those who are working on acheiving an initial Wiccan basis.
Much of the mentorship material is available throught the online courses hosted at
The Lotus Academy of Spiritual Arts (formerly known as The Shakti Wicca Training Chakra), so you need not enrol in the formal mentorship program
to receive the benefit of some structured education in IndoWicca. There are also many ritual resources and useful IndoWiccan
material posted on this site and also on our sister-site,
The IndoPagan Project.
Choosing to become a Shakti Wicca Circle Member also provides a sense of community and fellowship with
others of a likemind, along with inclusion and participation in the framework of a working tradition.
Those who may be applying as an Elder Dedicant should contact Devi directly with a detailed biography and
reasons for wanting to dedicate into the Shakti Wicca tradition. (To be eligible for Elder Dedicant status, one must
have at least 10 years of Wiccan LEADERSHIP experience [e.g. running a coven, or similar position of responsibility, or other
mature involvement in the Wiccan community], and have already been blending Hinduism with Wicca for several years. Application
bios should cover these aspects in detail.
